7,000 diners flock to new Harrogate pizza restaurant in first month after opening
A new pizza restaurant in Harrogate has seen huge demand after welcoming more than 7,000 diners during its first month of trading.
Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, located on John Street in the centre of town, has quickly become one of the most talked-about new food venues in North Yorkshire following its official launch and giveaway of 3,000 free pizzas.
The popular UK pizza chain is known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, with dough freshly prepared on-site daily, fermented for 24 hours and cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven in just 60 seconds.
The Harrogate branch features seating for 120 people indoors, plus an additional 35 outdoor seats, placing it firmly at the heart of the town’s growing food and drink scene.
Harrogate diners embracing authentic Neapolitan pizza
Customers visiting Rudy’s can choose from a range of classic Neapolitan pizzas, including:
- Marinara with San Marzano tomatoes, garlic and oregano
- Traditional Margherita with mozzarella and basil
- Triple Pepperoni topped with three types of pepperoni and chilli honey
- Carni pizza featuring salami and wild boar salami
Pizza prices range from £9.90 to £15.90, with additional dips including garlic and herb, chilli honey and truffle parmesan available.
The restaurant also offers rotating pizza specials inspired by famous pizzerias from around the world.

Charity fundraiser supports Harrogate Homeless Project
As part of its opening celebrations, Rudy’s also hosted a charity night that raised £1,678 for Harrogate Homeless Project.
The event brought together staff, customers and supporters to raise money for the local charity while marking the arrival of one of Harrogate’s newest restaurants.
With strong early demand and thousands of visitors already through the doors, Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana appears set to become one of the town’s most popular dining destinations heading into summer.
