Nidderdale Show aims to celebrate the best of agricultural traditions with top class livestock & horse sections and boasts one of the finest exhibitions of animals anywhere in the UK.

‘Pateley Show’, as the Nidderdale Show is affectionately known, is a traditional Dales agricultural Show.  Taking place in the beautiful surrounds of Bewerley Park, Pateley Bridge, it has grown to become one of the county’s foremost agricultural shows and regularly attracts crowds of 15,000.  Our visitors can browse a wonderful display of the finest livestock, produce and crafts that the Dales have to offer.  The Nidderdale Show traditionally marks the end of the agricultural show season.

Opening Times

The Nidderdale Show begins at 7.45 am with the judging of the Open Equitation class and closes at approximately 5.30 – 6.00 pm with the conclusion of the Show Jumping competitions.

Trade stands and trade marquees are open from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm approximately.

Nidderdale Show Family Area

The fantastic staff from Sunflowers Day Nursery work with the Nidderdale Show to provide a Family area for visitors and their little ones to rest and relax!

You can find the Family Marquee situated next to the food court and the Main Ring.  There is ample room to sit and have your lunch and also watch the entertainment.

In addition, we provide a nappy changing area, bottle warming facilities and a quiet area for nursing mothers.  To keep the little ones entertained, there are arts and crafts, also biscuit decorating, a sand pit to play in and working in the small digger area.  There may even be a magic show!

Dogs

Visitors are allowed to bring their dogs to the show as long as they are kept on a short lead and must remain under close control at all times.  Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

There are certain areas on the showground where dogs will not be allowed, for example, the livestock marquees.

Dogs must not be left in your car at any time.

Cash Facilities

There are ATM machines at the Dales Market Corner convenience store on Bridgehousegate and also outside the Spar Shop on the High Street.  There are no banks in Pateley Bridge.

First Aid

This is provided by Medics UK.  If you need their assistance at the show, please speak to the nearest steward who will be able to help you.  You can find the First Aid Centre located by the cricket pitch and looking across to the Vintage section.
