Kieran’s regular Tuesday takes a wander this week. He will be out taking it across 3 bars in town. The quiz will start at Husk (head there for 7pm) and then will travel to Harrogate Tap and finish at The Disappearing Chin doing 2 rounds at each venue.

Learning Where Flavour Comes From & How To Describe It.

Join Mark Dredge, Sunday Brunch’s resident beer expert for a unique and fun experience as he takes you on a journey of flavour exploration; how we perceive flavour, where flavour in beer comes in, how to identify flavour and how to describe it, followed by an opportunity to put your new-found understanding of flavour into practice with a sampling session of five Rooster’s beers covering a variety of styles and flavours.

As part of North Bar’s Tap Takeover with the guys over at Left Handed Giant, we’ll be hosting a meet the brewer event with a member of the LHG team!

The TTO is a fringe event of North Brewing’s Springwell Sessions Beer Festival.

** Harrogate Beer Week Bottle Share | HUSK Beer Emporium, Station Square | 5pm

Casual, fun filled bottle-(or can!)-share hosted by HUSK. Simple really – everyone brings something *special* to share, everyone gets to taste something *special* and we all talk beer and less serious things and have heaps of fun. What do you mean by something *special*? Don’t be put off – we’re not expecting the rarest, oldest, smallest batch beers (although if you have any, feel free!). Just bring something you really like, or you’d love to share, or maybe you’ve been waiting on something like this to crack open that certain something? Failing that, pop in the shop and we can help you out.

Capacity is very limited so we’re asking for £5 to reserve your space. We’ll use it to get some Pizza Social pizza & nibbles in to share!

Join us for a rare peak behind the scenes for a one-off afternoon of brewery tours with Tom & Oliver Fozard as part of Rooster’s Harrogate Beer Week celebrations. Each tour will last approx. 30 minutes, followed by a tutored tasting of three beers in the Taproom with Rooster’s in-house Cicerone, Nichola Bottomley.

All week The Chin will have beers going against each other from 16 different breweries. Each day they will put on the beers that are competing each day and the winner(s) will be the beers that sell the most that day. With group stages (Mon-Thu) and knockout stages (Fri-Sun) all accumulating to a final on the Sunday for a Brewery to be crowned Harrogate Beer Week World Champion!!!

Presented by Harrogate & Ripon Campaign for Real Ale, choose your stops in your own time and collect stickers as you go for a chance to WIN prizes! What better way to support local pubs and breweries and enjoy real ale or cider along the way.
